1989 Michael Keaton Batmobile
The Brief:
Quite possibly one of the most iconic movie cars of all time.
The 1989 Michael Keaton Batmobile is unmistakeable from its long bonnet and jet turbine front nose cone through its two large bat wings and jet after burner rear central exhaust.
This particular car is owned by a private collector who wanted the vehicle to be made road legal and given a full overhaul, modernising the engine and running gear as well as electronics.
Being a movie prop the bodywork was not in great condition as it only needed to look good in front of a camera, so the whole vehicle body as realigned, strengthened and repainted.
